Nice village location with village green, play area and boats just across the lane from the cottage. Village shop and pub. Plenty of quiet walks. Ideal for dog walkers. Miles of golden sand nearby at Sea Palling. Wroxham not far for a trip on the broads or hiring boat. Very nice location to spend the day. Mrs S 12 September 2010
This was a really delightful cottage and the facilities were superb. We can't wait to go back. The setting was lovely and peaceful but within easy reach of many major attractions. We felt privileged to stay there. Mr F, LUTON, Beds. 31 August 2010
This cottage was immaculate and ideally placed for many attractions. It was set in a friendly village with a handy tearoom/takeaway/general store where they referred to me as "the lady in Anchor Cottage"! I would thoroughly recommend it. Mrs R, Erith, Kent 15 June 2010
The cottage was clean, cosy and very well equipped. It had been finished to a very high standard and we all had a good nights sleep in the very comfortable beds. The local pub was as described just 100yds away and did lovely food and we received a very warm and friendly reception. The village of Stokesby was lovely with a tea rooms and local shop and the river running through. I would definitely recommend this to others as the location is perfect for visiting the broads and all the pretty villages from the land! Miss D, BOURNEMOUTH, Gb 12 May 2010
Lovely location - one bedroom has a view of the boats on the broads village green with children's play area just opposite. Very well-placed - many attractions and walks within easy reach (too many to fit in a week in fact !) Ms M, MILTON KEYNES, Bucks 12 May 2010
The holiday cottage was lovely and the owner was very thoughtful (easter eggs for kids and bottle of wine for adults). I would recommend this to my family and friends and stay there again myself, it had a lovely pub serving great food and a local shop, it was easy access for sightseeing and the broads.
